Birding Old Marsh Road: Sunday April 21, 8am-12pm.
Join us at the east end of Old Marsh Rd for a bird hike. The intersection of Point Rd North and Point Rd West This is one of the few times one can access this part of Horicon National Wildlife Refuge.
We will walk across the marsh starting on the east side to the west side (3.4 miles one way). We will have a shuttle on the west side to bring us back (or simply turn around at any point if you wish).
Ducks, marsh birds, yellow-headed blackbirds, shorebirds and raptors will be targets. We will be hiking on level gravel roads. Wear good hiking shoes and dress in layers.
