Rock River Basin Bus Tour (5/8/26, 2pm)

This new trip along the Rock River basin in southeastern Dodge County will include riverine flood plain forest and surrounding areas. If conditions are right, it can provide shorebird habitat along with waterfowl. The possibility of warblers is good with this area reliably producing Prothonotary Warblers as well as flycatchers along the river. We will walk along the roads several times for approximately two miles. The e-Bird list is currently at 161 species spotted along Elmwood Road and 78 on Monroe Road which will be the two main roads we will walk along. Bus will leave at 2pm SHARP.
