Ledge Park Birding Tour
May 10 @ 7:00 am - 9:00 am
$15.00
Trip leader: Matt Herzmann
Ledge Park is part of the Dodge County Parks system, and its 82 acres lies along the Niagara Escarpment, a natural rock ledge that begins at Niagara Falls and moves westward. It divides the park into upper and lower areas and provides a breathtaking overlook of the famous Horicon Marsh and surrounding countryside. The area is heavily wooded, and we will bird along park roads and trails looking for flycatchers, tanagers, thrushes and warblers. Ledge Park has 160+ birds on its e-Bird checklist. When entering the park, turn right into the upper level of the park and go to the first set of parking stalls to meet for the trip.
