October Meeting: Belugas, Bears and Birds from Churchill Manitoba

Join us on October 16th at 6:30 PM at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center.
Jeff and Suzanne Bahls will share their adventure from August of 2023 to Churchill Manitoba, the polar bear capital of the world. They paddled with Beluga whales, toured Hudson Bay in a tundra buggy , saw Polar bears and some sub-arctic birds as well.
An amazing combination, of wildlife, scenery, native culture and small town feel, this trip was a great learning adventure!
Jeff is the president of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club and loves new experiences with birds. Suzanne is a Master Naturalist with over
280 hours of volunteer service. They also enjoy paddling and bicycling after birds of course.
