DESCRIPTION:Join us at Dodge County Ledge Park for a bird hike. We will meet at the\nshower/restroom building on the upper loop entrance to the campground and walk from\nthere.\nLedge Park has recorded 171 bird species within its 83 acres\, making it one of the\nareas’ birdiest spots.  Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will lead the hike. All\nfolks are welcome to join us\, no experience necessary. Free and no registration\nrequired.  Bring binoculars if you have them.  Plan on walking 1-2 miles.  Terrain may be\nsomewhat rocky in spots.\nN7403 Park Rd\, Horicon\, WI 53032.

SUMMARY:Ledge Park Birding Tour
DESCRIPTION:Trip leader: Matt Herzmann \nLedge Park is part of the Dodge County Parks system\, and its 82 acres lies along the Niagara Escarpment\, a natural rock ledge that begins at Niagara Falls and moves westward. It divides the park into upper and lower areas and provides a breathtaking overlook of the famous Horicon Marsh and surrounding countryside. The area is heavily wooded\, and we will bird along park roads and trails looking for flycatchers\, tanagers\, thrushes and warblers. Ledge Park has 160+ birds on its e-Bird checklist.  When entering the park\, turn right into the upper level of the park and go to the first set of parking stalls to meet for the trip. \nRegistration with payment required.
