DESCRIPTION:Join members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club for a walk around the Mieske Ponds at\nHoricon Marsh State Wildlife Area.  Walk the dikes surrounding the ponds and remnant\nsavannah and grasslands.  Opportunity for marsh and woodland species. There are no\ndesignated trails\, dike tops are gravel/grass. . We will also bird a new wetland restoration along Swan road\nMeet at the back parking lot of Swan Road and Mieske Ditch Road.  GPS coordinates\nare (43.495676\, -88.67392). DESCRIPTION:Join us at Dodge County Ledge Park for a bird hike. We will meet at the\nshower/restroom building on the upper loop entrance to the campground and walk from\nthere.\nLedge Park has recorded 171 bird species within its 83 acres\, making it one of the\nareas’ birdiest spots.  Members of the Horicon Marsh Bird Club will lead the hike. All\nfolks are welcome to join us\, no experience necessary. DESCRIPTION:Since “discovering” this 70-acre gem\, it has been a superstar birding location (174\nspecies e-Birded here).  Ziegler Park has 72.3 acres of parkland; most of which is\nmature wooded forest along the east branch of the Rock River with a 1.5-mile nature\ntrail. This Mayville City Park is a great spot for many birds but particularly warblers in\nthe spring.
