DESCRIPTION:This is the last weekend that Old Marsh Road is open to the public! Join members of\nthe Horicon Marsh Bird Club for one last hurrah through this beautiful area! Viewing\nhighlights in August include many species of water birds such as black-necked stilts\,\nAmerican bittern and common gallinule. Shorebird migration has begun by this time\, so\nwe’ll search for plovers\, sandpipers\, dowitchers\, stilts and more! You will be walking\ngravel dike tops\, up to 3 miles. Wear good walking shoes and bring water.\nMeet at the East end of Old Marsh Road at the intersection of Point Road North and\nPoint Road West. DESCRIPTION:Since “discovering” this 70-acre gem\, it has been a superstar birding location (174\nspecies e-Birded here).  Ziegler Park has 72.3 acres of parkland; most of which is\nmature wooded forest along the east branch of the Rock River with a 1.5-mile nature\ntrail. This Mayville City Park is a great spot for many birds but particularly warblers in\nthe spring.
