Snapshot Wisconsin, Let’s Discover Our Wildlife Together.
Presented by Annie McDonnell.
Snapshot Wisconsin is a state-wide, volunteer-based wildlife research project utilizing
trail cameras to detect wildlife populations. We will discuss the history of the project, an
overview of its scientific applications, and how members of the public can get involved.
Annie will share some of our favorite bird photos and related research involving the
greater prairie chickens. Attendees are welcome to bring their own wildlife trail cam photos to share with the presenter.
Annie McDonnell joined the Snapshot Wisconsin team as a Volunteer Coordinator in
May of 2021. Annie is a professional Naturalist and an avid birder. Prior to joining the
Snapshot team, Annie conducted research on grassland bird and waterfowl populations
throughout Montana for World Wildlife Fund and Montana Natural Heritage Program.
