Join DNR Educator Liz Herzmann at sunset as we hike into a restored grassland to listen for the ubiquitous sounds of dusk at the marsh. Our target birds will be woodcock, sora, Virginia rail, American bittern, barred owl and Wilsons snipe. Be prepared for a mile walk in low light conditions and possible uneven terrain. Feel free to bring a low powered headlamp or flashlight and dress warm. Meet at Green Head Road (43.498104 -88.591129). Free and no registration required.
