This is the Columbus city hall building. We will meet in the parking lot on the north side of the building. We will watch migrating Chimney swifts come to roost as they enter the chimneys of the historic building built in 1892.
While waiting on the swifts we will talking about chimney swift biology and what you can do to help these “flying cigars”. Nearly all flying insectivores ( bug eaters) are in a serious population decline.
The Cercis Brewing company is right across the street if you would like to gather after the swift night out to talk birds.
