Program: Interactive Waterfowl ID
Learn about Waterfowl Identification in a fun, interactive way.
Tips for all levels and skillsets of birders from fledglings to high flyers!
Join Horicon Marsh Bird Club president and avid waterfowl enthusiast , Jeff Bahls, as he waddles through some of the finer key field marks and fun stories about waterfowl you will likely encounter in Wisconsin.
Jeff’s life turned fowl at an early age when he followed his father duck hunting along Dodge county, Wisconsin’s creeks and ponds.
That passion for ducks later turned into a broader appreciation for all birds. With nearly 50 years of waterfowl experience, Jeff will cover the species that make this part of Wisconsin, a bird watchers paradise.
We will use an interactive game system that you can follow your results and learn along the way.
Join the flock at 7PM on Thursday February 20th 2020 at the Horicon Marsh Education and Visitor Center N7725 Hwy 28 between Horicon and Mayville.
